No One Is Safe
Amy Talbot, the young daughter of Angelo Talbot, a protected government witness scheduled to testify in a major drug cartel trial, is kidnapped in a well coordinated, brazen, daylight ambush, masterminded by a phantom called Hemmler, a cold blooded assassin few have seen or met, whose fearsome reputation is part fact and mostly legend. Jeremy Priest the head federal prosecutor asks Sydney Palmer and Lynn Pieri two well known homicide detectives to help them find the missing girl. They agree to help and are told the trial will resume in three days and they need to find Amy by then or her father will not take the witness stand. As they begin to make progress in their investigation their worst fears start to come true as not only a witness and informant are both murdered for cooperating with them, but someone is leaking information about the investigation to the drug cartel. The power and money of the drug cartel is all pervasive. They now can trust no one. Though their own lives are placed in danger, they continue their search and get closer to finding the missing girl. Sydney Palmer discovers and then exposes the person who is the source of the leaks, who is then pressured into revealing the location of Amy Talbot. There Sydney Palmer corners and then confronts the last remaining obstacle to Amy’s safe return, Hemmler.

Lets Us Cross Over The River
The American Civil War is the most cataclysmic event in our country’s history, and to this day there is still a fundamental misconception of the reasons for its cause, misrepresentations of the manner of how it was waged, and not a full understanding and awareness of the war’s lasting effects.
Not widely known or acknowledged are the women, disguised as men, who fought and died on many historic battlefields such as Shiloh, Gettysburg, Antietam, and Fredericksburg. The objective would be retelling their experiences in a narrative using the backdrop of the true causes of the war, how it was fought and the consequences of the Union’s victory.
